Clare has performed at the Edinburgh Radical Bookfair, the Edinburgh Festival (with Kitty Fitzgerald and Mark Tuohy), Hay Festival (with Wesley Stace and Nicole Krauss), the Harrogate Crime Writing Festival (with Val McDermid, Dreda Say Mitchell, Allan Guthrie and Cathi Unsworth), and at Kendal Brewery.
She’s been a guest speaker at the Arvon Foundation, and is due to teach with Liz Jensen at Arvon’s Lumb Bank in November 2008.
